PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Born in Tarzana, Los Angeles to actors and director Ernie and Elaine Lively, Blake Lively was the youngest of five siblings. Blake had no interest in acting at all, but during her junior and senior years of schooling, her older brother, Eric, made his agent send her out on a few acting auditions over a period of a few months. These auditions then acquired her with her big feature movie role as Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, which she would then reprise for a sequel a few years later. Lively filmed the movie between her junior and senior years at Burbank High school, and recieved praise for her performance.

RISE TO FAME
Blake, at first was reluctant to move into the TV career as her passion was feature films, but still tryed for the role of Serena Van Der Woodsen.
She then became the household name she is today, brushing shoulder with all the A-list actors and becoming the muse for many high Fashion designers and editors. She is know for her obsession with Christian Louboutin heels, and even has a shoe named after her, made by the legendary designer.
Blake’s upcoming movie roles are in the Green Lantern, alongside leading man, Ryan Reynolds, which is expected to be a box office hit.

As was mentioned before, Blake has an obsession with Christian Louboutin shoes, and is rumoured to have over 40 pairs from the one designer. She is seen in the designer at almost every event she attends.

‘In high school, there are so many cliques. You’re never safe. In between my junior and senior years, I went away to film The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, and I came back ready to do the things with my friends that we always did, but things change. People get older, and there are some inside jokes that you don’t know about that have happened. You feel lost for a while, and it’s hard to come back from that. Then the friends who have “replaced” you are territorial. I’ve experienced that a little bit. There are catty, insecure, and gossipy girls everywhere, but for me, I don’t think it’s a matter of any of them being genuinely bad at heart. I just think that maybe the different ways in which people are raised make them different and insecure. They point out the bad things in others just to make themselves feel better. It’s everywhere.’
