I heard that Rufus and Lily did have a son, but they gave it up for adoption. Then they go and visit him and his family, but apparently, he died in a boat accident. It might just be a rumor, or it may never happen, but that’s what I heard.

I agree that Dan and Aaron are both not very attractive. Aaron looks like an anemic goat. Poor Blake Lively. Chuck and Nate make up for it I suppose. I wish they would find a really hot guest star for Serena to hook up with.

but Dan’s appearance has improved a lot, plus he is getting much interesting, i thought they were coming back together after he and serena were so “jealous of each other” at the snowflake ball.

I adore Chuck and Blair. From the moment the narrator said “…and Chuck Bass lost the one thing no one knew he had–his heart” I have been sold on this couple and although I am extremely frustrated that they can’t ever seem to get together anymore (even for a tinsy bit of fluffy happiness) I also love the drama! This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes me tune in every week and the writers know it. They’re milking my adoration for Chuck and Blair for all it’s worth because they know that I get a kick out of the verbal bantering and saying of really mean things that I know they don’t mean, they know that it pains me to watch them hurt each other even while I secretly enjoy it, they know I want to throw things at the T.V. when they get so very very close to make wild passionate love and then stop, they know that it makes me go “awwww” and sigh in a girly way when they confess some sort of feeling for the other and express with their eyes how much they love each other even when they’re too proud to say the words.

Writers, I both love and hate you, because you know what you’re doing but you’re making my Chuck and Blair loving existence difficult. But as long as you keep writing for these two, I will keep on watching and hoping that my rebel-without-a-cause and my Blair Bitch finally find some happiness together.

Anyway, the rooftop scene from Episode 14 was so touching. Poor Chuck has some serious abandonment issues, which is probably why he’s trying really hard to get Blair to hate him–the whole leave her before she can leave you theory. But you could see it in his eyes when she said she couldn’t bare it if he was gone that he adores her. And the hug and “I’m sorry” were a complete contradiction to what he said in Victrola.

I too cannot understand how anyone could find these two boring, but to each his own (so long as I get my way and lots of Blair and Chuck scenes).

By the way, in the original preview for episode 14 that was on youtube right after episode 13 came out, there was a scene that seemed to be missing from tonight’s episode where Chuck is sitting at a desk in Bass Industries with a hooker sitting on his lap and Blair and Uncle Jack burst in on him…was that scene scrapped or will we still see that?
