Gone Maybe Gone Fashion Review: Blair Waldorf

Blair is back and in full swing. The first glimpse we get of her is in a Hotel room in Monte Carlo in that beautiful orange gown with gold embellishing that we saw her in in the final episode of Season 5. The first ‘new’ ensemble we spot Blair in is a beautiful Dolce and Gabbana Top, which she paired with a red skirt, a red chapeau and a pair of nude platforms. I loved it, it was bright, summery, colorful and gives Blair some fabulous curves. Her hair was pinned into a side bun and her make-up was simply gorgeous, especially that red lip.

Blair’s second outfit, which she wore for the remainder of the episode included a Prada Wrap Top, which she paired with a red skirt, a Fendi Python & Leather Top Handle Bag and a gorgeous silver necklace. Despite my disliking of Prada I very much loved this outfit on Blair. It was fun and had a young essence to it. After those ‘oldies’ last season we needed a little change. The fabrics are very light and breezy and the colors contrasted beautifully. Her hair was in a much better state too. Lighter, curly and flouncy. As was her make-up, fresh with a pretty pink lip.

High Infidelity Fashion Review: Blair Waldorf

Blair’s main outfit on the second episode consisted of an Alice+Olivia Floral Pleated Skirt which she paired with a white structured top, a pair of Christian Louboutin Echasse Ankle-Wrap Platform Sandals and a Valentino Rockstud Single Handle Bag. I am in love with this outfit, it’s a wonderland of pastels. And what do I spy, a headband! The pleated skirt with the cream top that cinches in at the waist, has cap sleeves and stitching on the neckline is perfection. But the best part of the outfit is the colorful Louboutin, absolutely fabulous, just like the pink crystal studded headband. Her braid is another stunner. Probably my favorite outfit thus far in the Season.

Her second and last outfit was fabulous. Blair wore a Marc by Marc Jacobs Night Bird Silk-Taffeta Dress. Absolutely lovely, no? The black taffeta with a pretty flower print, V-Neck and cinching in at the waist makes for a stunning dress. It’s very adult like but yet still incorporates all things Blair. Her hair is pinned into a low bun and her make-up is very pretty. Keeping it in the purple/fuchsia color scheme. And of course, she is wearing the long silver chain necklace with the Harry Winston rock from dear Chuck Bass.

It’s getting down to the end of Gossip Girl and things are heating up!! Blair has to make a choice based on options given by Eleanor. Blair REALLY wants to fix things for Waldorf Designs by making a beautiful dress for the upcoming Cotillion. Meanwhile, Serena questions the way that Steve has been acting with her, and Chuck finds help from someone he didn’t expect in order to get Bart and Lily to help him unlock the family secret. And Dan strikes out, once again, with another article meant to do more good but causing harm. Watch Gossip Girl!

Dirty Rotten Scandals Fashion Review: Serena van der Woodsen

Episode 3 makes for a total Fashion Fiasco, and some fashionable outfits. In Dirty Rotten Scandals, Serena wears a Haute Hippie Love Her Madly Embellished Skirt which she paired with a Madison Marcus Crystal Beaded Tank, a 3.1 Phillip Lim Lark Small Duffel and a Pour La Victorie Zimmer Shadow Snake Pump. This is a classic Serena ensemble. Super short skirt, bare all sheer tank top and a sky-high heel. What isn’t there to love about this? I love the mix of different colors in the skirt and the beading on the tank. What I would have liked not to see is that bag. It kind of destroys the whole outfit, a green/yellow tacky leather bag isn’t very cute. I would have preferred a thin, long, chain with a slim clutch attached to both ends. The shoe isn’t a favorite either. I’m not a big fan of snake print (mainly because I’m scared to death of them) and especially not in a mustard yellow. Her hair and make-up are once again flawless but the accessories, not so much.

Serena’s second and last outfit on the episode included the Lorick Spring 2009 Nikki Dress which she paired with an Oscar De La Renta Mariela Bag. Now, this is a much better outfit. I love the black/navy blue dress with a pretty striped fabric as the hem. It cinches in at the waist and then flows into a bouncy skirt with several pleats to add volume. The sweetheart neckline is another major plus but the bag is once again a no-go. It’s antique like and doesn’t match the dress or the look she was going for. Loved the hair and the shoes though.

Dirty Rotten Scandals Fashion Review: Blair Waldorf

Blair’s first outfit was definitely not my favorite and probably my least favorite of all three episodes that aired so far. She wore a Christian Dior Spring 2012 Red Leather Cowl-Neck Peplum Top with a matching Skirt and an L. Erickson Headband. While I love red on Blair and it gives her an instant edge, I dislike the leather cowl neck top. It looks tacky and overwhelming on her petite figure. It just adds unnecessary volume. I do love the headband though, and of course the red lip.

Blair’s third outfit consisted of a stunning RED Valentino Animal Print Chiffon Dress, which she paired with Alexis Bittar Floral Clip Earrings and Brian Atwood Platform Pumps. This is perfection. I love the sheer pink/black print fabric over top a magenta slip and lots of tulle to add volume to the skirt. It cinches in at the waist and makes for a wonderful Fashion Show outfit. The big earrings are another fantastic statement as are the pumps, who doesn’t love themselves a Zebra pattern. The hair is beautifully side parted, pinned into a bun and looks sleek and shiny. Just like her pink lip. Overall, I think we got ourselves another stunner.

Last but not least, a lingerie ensemble. Blair wore a delicate Stella McCartney Chemise in navy blue. I love the plunging neckline, straps and cut-outs on the sides leading to a half open back. Sexy, elegant and a fabulous choice. Blair always wears fabulous lingerie and I think this just proves my point, no? I’m sure Chuck Bass would agree. Her hair is loosely waved and side parted. A dark lip to bring the look together and we’ve got another winner.
