This Spread has some amazing shots of Blake Lively, and the Fashion? Of course it is amazing. Each look is different from the other and the color scheme is red and white which are two very opposing colors. White, the innocent, dove like while Red, the color of love, passion and blood. In this first picture Blake is wearing a Bill Bass dress, it looks very legere and comfortable looking. Her hair is curled slightly and scrunched up in order to create volume. Her make-up fits the look perfectly, red tinted lip and a smokey eye.
This shot looks very similar to her Elle spread in March. I really like this bodysuit designed by Prada. It’s focused on lines and shapes, using a red gradient and a dark blue or black color to create contrast. Her hair got spritzed with salt water spray to create a beach wave. It’s parted slightly to the side and then tossed over her shoulders. Her make-up is a little less than in the previous shot but the cheeks are highly defined with bronzer.
Amazing, how one can go from bright red and sultry pictures to pure white ones. I absolutely love this look. Here she is wearing a Chanel dress which got paired with a La Vie Bobo ring. The dress is not super tailored, it’s a little loose and the sleeves are billowing and the skirt typical A line. I love the stud detailing covering the dress. Her hair is less salt watery but still has a good amount of volume.
I absolutely adore this look. It’s very Versace like but the designer is Cushnie et Ochs. The dress, a crisp white is tight, hugging the body in all the right places and has a high slit. To add some hardware the stylists added a reflective silver peplum. It adds structure and simply looks fabulous. Her hair has less volume but still looks very ‘I just got up’.
The second to last look is once again sultry and sexy in red. She is wearing a Lanvin Strapless Gown which looks super comfortable and at the same time it’s elegant. It looks like a towel that’s wrapped around her with the end tucked in at the top in order for it to hold in place. The hair is teased a little more and the make-up is still the same.
The last look is my favorite, not just because it’s Louis Vuitton but it’s once again white and it incorporates sheer fabric. It’s very etherial and simple looking but elegant at the same time. Her nails are painted in a deep red and her lip is tinted red as well. The only problem I have with this look is the super dark eyebrows. They look a little off. Other than that it’s another beautiful shot.
