Blake 21, plays socialite Serena Van Der Woodsen on the show who along with her group of fashionista friends is the target of a high school Blogger who catalogues their every move on the internet.

When she’s not running around New York filming scenes in a wardrobe, even Carrie Bradshaw would love to raid, Blake’s either nuzzling her dog Penny or locking lips with Penn Badgley.

What do you love most about your character, Serena?

At every school there’s the girl who everyone looks at, who dresses very cute, but is always the mean horrible person- but Serena’s not like that. At her core she’s just a good person and loves her friends- she’ll do anything for them. I think that its good to portray the “IT” girl as a nice person because not all girls are mean.

And we totally want to steal Serena’s wardrobe too…Do You get to keep any of the clothes?

Oh Gosh! In the show I wore a 7000 coat for a casual day at school. Its just absurd.No, but hopefully one day.

You must have a pretty amazing selection at home…

I probably have 60 gorgeous bags my style ever-changing I’m still finding it. I love different textures and fabrics and colours, they just pull me in.

How do you handle gossip and bitchy girls when you were at school?

There were definitely gossipy and catty girls everywhere. I was involved in a lot of activities so people knew who I was. At one point, parents of other kids lied and said my mom and dad had paid the choirmaster to put me in the choir because I couldn’t sing or dance. I lost a lot of friends because of this.i don’t listen to what people say about me, you just have to turn a blind eye to it because people are going to talk and you can’t be hurt by that.

Are you addicted to celeb magazines?

If I’m sitting at the airport and there’s a magazine I’ll pick it up. I never read stories because they’re so untrue but he pictures are fun.

What’s the silliest gossip you’ve read about yourself?

There was an article saying that my co-star Leighton Meester and I were like, Frenemies! Its silly as we get along really well. There’s enough gossip on the show already without making it up

Do you think your life is as glamorous as Serena’s when you’re not filming the show?

Not at all! I love planning parties, interior decorating and baking. I love making deserts.
