We have just learned that Gossip Girl has been canceled! This is BREAKING NEWS.

It started when Taylor Momsen repeatedly showed up late, sometimes not coming in at all.  The producers eventually sat her down and told her that she had to be more responsible, but Taylor said: “I really want to focus on my music career” and she asked that her contract not be renewed at the current season.

The plan was to write her out of the show, but when Leighton heard she said: “I have a music career,too, but I would NEVER do that to Gossip Girl and its fans.” This made Penn Badgley mad, who is close to Taylor in real life. He also threatened not to return and his girlfriend, star Blake Lively decided it could be a good time for her to further her movie career.

Over hearing all the discussions, creator Josh Schwartz was furious and declared on the spot: “Gossip Girl is canceled!’
