Gossip Girl Cross Rhodes Fashion Review: Blair Waldorf

In contrast to Serena’s Fashion Review from this week’s episode, I can offer more details regarding Blair’s looks.

However, like Serena, Blair also only wore one outfit. We start with a Milly Suzie Plaid Skirt paired with a print blouse in washed out green/grey with green printing on it. I’m not a big fan of her outfit this week. It’s too old looking, Blair should wear clothing that suits her age and doesn’t make her look older than she actually is. While plaid is cute on some, it isn’t on others and especially not when its wool that’s plaid and made into a skit. However, I do like the blouse, which could have looked great with a black skirt or even a green one and the black leather double buckle belt is also very cute. As for accessories, Blair is wearing Casadei 1563 Kitten Heel Pumps and a Sequin NYC Oval Stone Necklace. The shoes match the blouse really well, with the canvas color and the green tips and hearts. And the necklace is very simple and sleek, also matching the outfit perfectly.

Now, for the outside scene, Blair wore Diane von Furstenberg ‘Harrington’ Coat, paired with an Autumn Cashmere Fuchsia Scarf. I am dying for her coat and scarf. So gorgeous! The bright green against the heavy dose of fuchsia is perfect. Very in season and it just brightened up her complexion. Loved it.

The hair has always been a downer this season. I miss those luscious locks from Season 1 and 2 and I wish she wore more of that kind of hair. This seasons its been extremely flat and boring. However, her eyebrows seem to be tamed again, unlike int he beginning of the season where they became rather wild. Her make-up is also very fitting, pink lip and darker eyeshadow.
