I’m not sure how you Blair and Dan shippers are going to like this, but news has it that Serena Van Der Woodsen’s new man, which will be revealed by the end of this season, is apparenly someone we already know, someone who isn’t exactly a new person in her life.

It’s someone….like Dan Humphry.

And this will hugely affect the friendship between Serena and Blair. Again. Reports hint that a “storm will be brewing” as a result of this and the friendship between these two will once again be tested.

Now I know, I know…these girls have been on the same path before and I don’t know how many times they have fought over some guy. So, why is Gossip Girl rehashing old plots and storylines for this?

I don’t have an explanation for this, but as much as I’m thrilled for Blair and Dan and they do make a lovely couple, my heart has been set on Serena and Dan making it to the end.

You just cannot forget the first person you’ve ever really loved, I guess.
