Kristen Bell, Michelle Tratchenberg and Hilary Duff celebrate 125 years of women – Sophia Fashion Fix!

Hello, hello!

Three of our fave beauties were out and about at the Good Housekeeping’s “Shine On” 125 Years Of Women Making Their Mark in New York. They all looked elegant and prestine.

Lets start with the ever so pretty Hilary Duff. Now this girl is so into fashion and has an awesome nack for what works for her. I love this dress as it has a very vintage feel and is soo her!
The black sheer over the nude is so beautiful with the dramatic hem. I love the metallic waist belt detailing and the jeweled shoulder. I think the other part of the shoulder may be a little too much but I still love it. She has accessorised amazingly with the nude pumps and metallic black clutch. Love her hair and makeup too!

Now to Michelle Tratchenberg. I love this dress, vair simple yet classy but I think that she definitely needed a thick waist belt to accentuate her great curves. The neckline of the dress is so elegant. The chunky necklace is beautiful, paired with the black nail polish it adds drama. Once again, her hair is stunning and her makeup is lovely. Her silver shoes match the silver rings. I like it, but not her best.

Last but not least, Kristen Bell.
She also opted for a simple and cute mini dress that looked vair nice on her petite frame. The assymetrical shoulder is vair in now. Love the gold on the hem. The gold earrings match the hem and clutch, keeping this outfit cohesive. Would have liked to see more exciting shoes, as they are only peep toe pumps and she could have gotten away with somethine else. Her hair and makeup is pretty and casual. I love her red toenails. I think it is playing a bit safe but I think it suits her and looks great

Verdict?? Who was best dressed?

LOVE Hilary’s. Absolutely gorgeous. She’s always looking fantastic though.
Kristen’s is very pretty, but plain-ish.
Michelle’s definitely looks fantastic in her almost signature colour of navy, but the dress itself is a bit boring and doesn’t do a lot for her. Usually she is spot-on, but I don’t like this one.

Kristen’s look is indeed a little too “shy”, but it looks good on her.
I have to say that I don’t like Hilary’s look at all. Make-up and hair look lovely but the dress and the shoes?! We don’t know wether it’s short or long and I don’t like this shoe form in general. Then, the outfit is very “american” to me, I think people really like this style in the US but it’s definitely not my kind. Plus I don’t really see what’s so vintage about it.
So I guess Michelle is my favourite but it would have been perfect with a silver belt.
