Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick in Shanghai

Chuck and Blair spotted in Shanghai, China! No, sadly not filming Gossip Girl because they are on vacation but as their real selves, Leighton and Ed. The two went to China to celebrate the grand opening of the new store of Harry Winston last Friday. Leighton was part of the ribbon cutting ceremony that celebrated the brand’s two new stores in Shanghai. Ed Westwick was her side kick during the trip and the two look fabulous!

Leighton’s had a busy few weeks, first going to Brazil with the beau, then announcing her Spring Tour via Twitter and lastly off to China to enjoy the wonders of Harry Winston. Her tour will include five cities, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco and Anaheim and she will perform together with Check in the Dark!

Now, it wouldn’t be a proper post if I didn’t comment on the Fashion. Leighton was decked out in a Marchesa dress which she paired with some amazing Christian Louboutin’s. She looked absolutely beautiful. Two of my favorite designers put together and on Leighton nonetheless is perfection. I love the feathery and etherial feel of the dress. It looks light and soft and incorporates lace, cinching in at the waist and then flowing into a balloon type skirt, adorned with little pieces of fabric to make it look like feathers. The heels are even more stunning. A classic black satin pump with an ankle strap is a perfect shoe for any kind of attire. The only problem I have is that, even though the dress is beyond stunning, it isn’t a good fit on Leighton. It makes her look huge because the skirt is billowing and the neckline isn’t fitting her very well either, so I would have downsized on the fluff and tightened it up a little. Her hair has major volume for once and I love how soft it looks and the make-up is always a go getter on her. So overall, love it.
