Leighton Meester at the Ipanema Fair

Leighton Meester enjoyed her first few days on vacation with her beau and wearing some interesting clothing items. Here we see her in a Torn by Ronny Kobo Ann Azi Tank which she paired with 7 For All Mankind High Waist Cut Off Short and Havaianas Slim Flip Flops. As I’ve mentioned before, Leighton’s style is very non Blair, she drops the dresses, heels and high end sophisticated look and instead wears ripped jeans, tanks and boots. Of course she doesn’t wear this to the red carpet but she loves her downtime in comfortable attire. I actually like this look, compared to the one with the short sleeved button down. The shorts are super cute with the tank top. It’s a perfect look for summer and she’s incorporating all the trends. High waists, colorful patterns and some adorable sun glasses. Thinking about it, I really want that tank top, I love all the colors and compared to various other tanks, this is a high neck one, no low cut neckline or broad straps. The flip flops are nothing special, they are basic black ones. I would have preferred her wearing a sandal in either a black or brown with some embellishing on it. Maybe even a gladiator sandal. Lastly, she is wearing a cuff or stack of bracelets on her right wrist. I love stacking bracelets and advise everyone to do so, but with care, the bracelets should match after all. Now, how does her hair look better here than on Gossip Girl? It’s parted to the side and the fringe can hardly be seen. It also looks like it has more volume. Maybe it’s because of the red tinge in it. I definitely preferred her with dark brown hair than with the recent reddish color.
