Hey guys!

Another quick update for you.

Leighton has been spotted at ‘It’s On With Alexa Chung’ performing her debut single, ‘Somebody to love’.

I am a little torn by this performance because at some points I love her voice and then at others, I dont know.
So I guess I need all of you to tell me what you think!

I have to say that I totally admire Leighton for doing what she loves without caring what others think:)

By the way, I totally love the legging and suede boots paire with the eccentric cropped vest-jacket:)
Her hair looks great too!

Honestly she dosnt have the best voice n it needs work 4 sure- but wow she had the show performance thing goin on n her voice is sweet n music is catchy! I cant wait 4 her future work! I love Blair cause i loved Leighton wen i sartd watchn GG… It bugs me though how ppl think she has a ‘sluty look’ wen B dosnt ect. Its like she is her own person!

I like the song and I like her voice, but because it’s some electronic version in the actual song, her voice comes out a littlebit low when she sings it live. The couplets don’t fit in with the rest of the song now… that’s a shame…

I think she has a good voice and during the chorus (where she’s actually singing) she sounds great. When she tries to do that strange drawling, pin-up voice, she sounds terribly whiny. I really think she just needs to SING, as opposed to just doing that talk-sing-whine combination.

Um. No. No, Leighton. The beggining was actually pretty good but the chorus: woah no! In fact, everything BUT the chorus is good. The pre recorded electronic crap is just too much.
Though I hate what she’s wearing, I like that she’s branching away from being Blair to being Leighton. And her make-up is tdf! Not that subtle but not the raccoon crap she’s been pulling.

Love you Leighton. You’re beautiful and a talented actress but let’s leave the singing to the professionals, kay?

The performance was extremely weird, expecially with those two dancers. Leighton’s pitch is a bit off, but I thought it was pretty good. Except for makeup, she really should stick with more of a classic look instead of techno/punk/rock.

i think she’s amazing on live but …her chorus was kind of weird and the choregraphy were bad . Leighton looked like if she didnt wanna be there or if she had a hungover.

Wow, I don’t like this, AT ALL… She’s amazing in GG but this song… I think it’s bad. I already didn’t like the video and now her voice live is not really good.
Well I guess, at least she tried. Would be better if she stopped now.

the performance was blasé, she could of done so much better.
her voice on the other hand is suprisingly good.
i’ve seen plenty of stars who sound amazing on CD but live sound like a cat being strangled. not mentioning any names *cough*fergie*cough*.
Leighton on the other hand actually sounds like she does on her single so for that i have to say this was a good performance.

I loved it, and I am not a major GG fan… I think she is very authentic plus she is just starting. You know for sure she is not on playback and of course she has a lot to work on… but dont we all?

I honestly think that Leighton is very talented indeed. I love her in GG! In my opinion, the song wasn’t bad, but I find that there wasn’t enough singing. Also, the way she performed it was a little awkward. She seemed very stiff on stage and the 2 dancers seemed as though they were trying to make up for the lack of movement on her part, which made things just weird. Maybe it would’ve been better without them, so we wouldn’t notice how stiff she is…

I think if she wanted to pull off the performance itself with that song (even though I still think it lacked singing), she needed to move around the stage way more and give it more energy–jump around or something! The little choreography with the arms moving while she stood in place was weird. She may not be a dancer, but she could’ve just been more energetic, especially with that kind of song.

Don’t get me wrong, I adore Leighton and I’m rooting for her all the way. I just think that that performance could’ve used a little more oompf!
