Season finale BOMBSHELLs were dropped! SPOILER ALERT

Hey guys!

Wow, anyone watch the season 3 finale!
A lot of bombshells were dropped in this one, and it pleasantly surprised me.

Now, first ofall, It sucks that Chuck&Blair didn’t get back together officially because of Jenny but Gossip girl would not be the show it is if everything were easy going. I loved when they reunited in Chucks apartment. It was so nice, his face was so priceless. So sweet
It was really sad though when he was reaching for the ring to propose to Blair and he didn’get to ask her. Love the chemistry between the two.
I was really angry that J & C slept together. Totally wierd to me..probably because she always seems way younger to me.
By the way, I actually felt sorry for Jenny in this episode. I think Blair was a little too harsh to her by saying everyone hates her.

Then it was dropped that Georgina is pregnant and it is supposedly Dan’s. Really? Dan’s? Whose do you reckon it is?

Finally the bombshell of Chuck being mugged and shot. It is pretty obvious that the producers are not going to kill of one of the main reasons why the show is viewed because that would be total suicide, but I still found it really sad. I shed a few tears for him at that moment.

I also loved the scene when Dorota was having her baby. So funny!

I thought this finale was amazing. It bought back the twists that are always expected of this show. There are alot of different predictions for next season. What do you think will occur when it comes back to our screen? and
What are you going to do to occupy yourself for those gossip-girl-less months?

Lets hope that Season 4 begins with a blast!

and i loved chair´s short reunion and cried even more when chuck was shot. i realy hope he wont die and that he´ll find the engagementring again…somewhere, somehow. I am realy excited about paris and so on and how they gonna bring chuck to paris and how blair gonna react because of chucks nearly-death.

I always kinda felt that if Jenny did “do it” with some one, it will not be a small thing as her virginity has been such a big issue on the show.. n i think Chuck was kind of right for her… she’s such a screwed up person she would do it with someone like that… I mean the show is “Gossip Girl”
but chuck should be slapped for his stupidity, could he not wallow a bit longer in self pity than sleep with jenny? The whole mugged and shot thing is sad, but it does not put a cover on wat he did… poor blair, the show is too harsh on her… half of the bad things that happen on the show are not even caused by her and yet she’s called the “mean” one… she’s just uptight, but has romantic feelings…
I hope there’s no more Chuck/Jenny, there is some possibility of it being interesting but I would never choose it over Blair/ Chuck.

@May – I think she’s more angry about Jenny because usually he’s just with a nameless, faceless slut. Jenny has been a friend/rival/enemy. She’s seen every day. She isn’t a problem that can just be swept away like all of the girls who come and go.
Plus he lied to her face in order to keep her again. Then tried to propose without confessing…

Yeah the finale was reaaaaally great, better then i expected. chuck will definitely survive and strive next season. but actually he is so rich, he just buy another ring, blair didnt even got to see it clearly.

I felt so bad for Chuck this episode. He really shouldn’t have slept with Jenny, but he did think Blair didn’t want him anymore. When Dan punches Chuck and he says something like “But Blair, I though you didn’t love me anymore! I didn’t care whether I lived or died.” it sounded like he was about to cry and I was extremely disappointed that they were broken up once again. I felt even worse when Chuck gets mugged at the end of the episode and the mobsters pry Blair’s ring from his lifeless fingers and leave him bleeding on the cold, heartless Russian streets. That was a rather overly dramatic sentence, but it’s Chuck Bass–what other reaction could be expected.

Also, although Chuck’s shooting was shocking, it could definitely become a vehicle for he and Blair getting back together.

In the beginning i thought that jenny was this lovely girl, and all she wanted was to belong in the group of blair.
Now i seriously can’t stand her she’s so stupid! I’m glad she’s gone now… Though i think it’s blairs fault that jenny was a big problem, because she wouldn’t let jenny into her group (in the beginning).

haha..I think Jenny is the only smart character in the whole show actually, unlike the stupid whining whore Serena and unlike Blair who keeps breaking up with Chuck, although she pretends to love him so much. I don’t like the fact that Jenny lost her virginity to Chuck either – this was the worst thing the creators of the show could’ve thought at. I just hope that they’ll bring back old Jenny, although now they have to show how this thing affected her.

As much as I hate the wait…
It was only a one hour finale. Most shows get 2 hours to tie things up. If they’d ttried to in just 1hour it would have been rushed and unsatisfying I think.

I was upset about the Jenny thing. No upset with her, but for her. I think they did a good job of making us pity her (well me and the people I’ve spoken to at least). Taylor did a great job of portraying her hit rock bottom and feel so much regret.

I love that Georgina is back and hope that they do her justice. And don’t make Dan an idiot.

Didn’t like Blair this episode until she found out about Jenny. That was the writer’s fault though, not Leigh’s.

Chuck can die for all I care.

Serena I don’t really pay attention to….BUT NATE! I love him being bad. Let’s keep him that way PLEEEEASE.

Cannot wait til Paris though!

I felt so sad when Chuck and Blair reunited, only to be pried apart again…but it was expected. And when he was laying in the street after he got shot-I was in shock. I can’t wait to see Blair’s reaction to this. I think Blair was being a bit harsh (like in Season 1) to Jenny. Like others, I actually pity J at her “rock bottom” moments. It’s definitely different from her rebellious, doesn’t care attitude. Nate is getting a bit boring for me, and Vanessa too. I love the witty interaction between Dan and Blair.

no sillies. they’re talking about the babies and giving them each others personalities. dan is saying how one of the babies is serena when she is younger.
georgina is stating that the baby is her when she is younger and saying that she is going to do somthing to make everyone hate her when she grows up.
meaning she has made everyone hate her and now when she is in a tough situation she has no one to rely on because she made them all hate her and she feels orry for it.

Dan actually says “I like babies”

I think she’s pregnant but it’s not Dans, and after hearing him say that he “likes” babies, she tells him the babies his.

She probs hopes this is a way to get back in, and then get the support of someone against whatever happened in Russia.

A bunch of thoughts/hunches:

1. Georgina is a liar; she’s not really pregnant. It just seems really implausible to me.

2. There’s no way they’re killing off Chuck. That would be idiotic. But it’ll definitely be used as a catalyst to bring him and Blair together again. (!)

3. This Chair breakup, I think, was the saddest one yet, because they were SO CLOSE. And I’m not even mad at Chuck for sleeping with Jenny; really, is it that much worse than Blair sleeping with Jack because SHE thought Chuck didn’t love HER? And Chuck didn’t know she was still a virgin, no one did. She lied and that was her fault. I just feel bad for Chuck. He’s his own worst enemy, and pretty much a whirling dervish of pain without Blair. They’ve both done really terrible things to each other, and hurt one another, but in the end I know they’ll be together. They have too much history not to be.

Other than that, though, this season finale was great: Jenny’s gone, Vanessa’s in Haiti, Nate is being badass–if Rufus had gotten, like, hit by a truck or something, that would’ve been the icing on the cake. xD

I actually disagree. I definitely think she’s pregnant, but doubt it’s Dan’s.
I think that she was in trouble and nobody would help her, then she heard Dan say that he adores babies. It was an easy way out to say it was his. The dates kind of match up and if she’s got a whole lot of problems, passing some of the responsibility for at least one of those to Dan would make her life easier.

to be quite honest, i really hated this episode. like someone said, i was hoping at least some things would get resolved. when blair showed up late to the empire state building and didn’t see chuck there, i couldn’t help but wonder WHY IN THE WORLD she didn’t just call him! of course, i’m a big chuck/blair fan so i was disappointed that they didn’t get back together. but the part where chuck got mugged and shot at the end…seriously? i felt like i was watching a corny soap opera or something.

regardless, i’m ready for next season because i’d like to see how things from this episode unravel. i hope the next episode doesn’t leave me as disappointed as this one did.
