Season Finale: Surprise Us!

Hey guys, I know this sounds a little crazy, but I’ve just got up and first thing, I went to this site to write my article, because I’ve just had a dream about CHAIR’s wedding! And it’s related with what is going to happen in the so-called OMG season finale next monday. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna bomb some spoilers. It’s just that I’m afraid it won’t be that OMGish as a traditionnal season finale should be.

I’m sure you’ve all seen the teaser -and maybe the sneak peeks- of the finale. I myself also got to see the promo with the Chuck and Jenny thing going on. And I’ve seen the pics; but, I’ve been reading NO SPOILERS at all. Yet somehow, it feels like I already know most of the fun of the finale…Don’t you?

Let me explain; according to the official videos -including the Chair “for better for worse” recap and to the official pictures on the CW page, here’s what seems plausible to happen: Georgina is back in town, bringing along some trouble; Dan and Serena spent a night together and they kissed -Jenny took a picture of them sleeping in Dan’s bed and sent it to Gossip Girl to make a blast. Blair thinks she will not go to the Empire State Building but as the day goes by, she can’t help thinking her relationship with Chuck over and over again. Meanwhile, Chuck begins to doubt Blair will show up and somehow ends up spending time alone with Jenny. At the Empire State Building Blair and Chuck finally meet and Chuck proposes but Dan -or Nate?- shows up and starts a fight. In the end, at Ground Central Station, Jenny leaves New York, too dangerous for her it seems, after family goodbyes.

Ok, I know, I know: even if this is all gonna happen ,there are still some major things we don”t know like: does something REALLY happen between Chuck and Jenny? Is Georgina responsible for some of the drama in this episode or is she just coming back? How does Dan (most plausible) or Nate find out about Jenny (according to me Serena can seem like the one behind revealing it, since she wants “revenge” from Jenny’s blast on Gossip Girl about her sleeping with Dan)? Will Chuck finally be able to propose?

When you think about the past season finales, you realize that somehow it never really was about dropping a huge bomb until september, it was more a mixture of relief and curiosity, to make you look ahead and trying to foresee the plausible reactions. And it always had something to do with Chair, whether it was Chuck stooding Blair up at the Heliport, or the final declaration of love that relieved us all -and Blair-. So I guess my unconscious this time saw way ahead -and maybe saw wrong- when I dreamt of a wedding party with a strange and beautiful wedding cake made with pink and green macarons from Pierre Hermé

Let’s hope the finale will make this dream come true, getting the big surprise of it ready for the next season premiere.

Personally, I think the producers always makes us think things that aren’t completely true, so probably we’ll be surprise when we’ll realize it’s not what we thought (I hope!)

there’s a reason why the release promo videos, and it’s because they’d like the fans to talk about it relentlessly.

having said that, I expect the finale to be EPIC.

hm.. i think the finale will definately surprise us! and i can’t wait so see what will happen between Chair but anyway could u imagine that chuck proposes to blair?? in the promo of the season finale i can see chuck and jenny kissing :S i guess he’s doing this, because blair won’t appear at the top of the empire. or at least she will arrive too late. but this is what i think. who knows what’s really gonna happen!

there is another promo, the one available on the cw page: and on this one, you can definitively see an engagement ring and chuck sounding as he’s proposing to blair!
This is why, even though I think they’ll surprise us (like in the thanksgiving party), the trailer seems to spoil some of the drama!

I really hope Chuck and Blair get married! It would be slightly odd, considering they’re only 19 years old, but very sweet at the same time.

if Chuck proposes and Blair says yes, I hope that the wedding getting ready will last for many many episodes of the 4th season, with plenty of juicy drama…till the season 4 finale with the wedding happening or not -who knows?-. I would consider it a huge mistake to give us few details about an oncoming wedding and to move to some other plot…I mean what would the show be if it wasn”t for CHAIR!

I think it will be a interesting finale but the promos have kinda given away an awful lot of whats going to happen, especially with blair and chuck.. I I really hope there are more surprises that the promos havnt shown..
