Hey people!

Oh.My.God. Totally did not see this one coming. CW insiders and E! confirm that a ugly, ugly Chair breakup is on the horizon. Apparently Chuck does something terrible that everybody is going to hate him for. Predictably, Jack Bass was involved. Insiders say it’s a “bad breakup”.

Just when we thought no Chair animosity was on the anvil, CW drops this bomb. I, for one, am excited. They were getting real dull. Now, there will be something new and exciting.

These rumors have been circulating since yesterday but now it’s been confirmed that the CW isn’t even trying to mask it. No one knows exactly when the shit’s going to hit but apparently it starts to unravel from Episode 17 (Inglorious Bassterds) <—- I totally called this one! OR episode 18 (the Unblairable lightness of Being).

I suspect it’s to make way for Serenate because they can’t possibly have two major couples and also because C and B are getting pretty dull.

I Love Chuck and Blair! They are so perfect together and after their true heart to heart in Episode 12, I think it would be really stupid to break them up.

they are THE GOSSIP GIRL couple and although i love serenate, those two could never take that away from them. they cant break up. they were so sweet together. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they better do this right. unfortunately, in my opinion the cw is stupid. blair had a small moral epiphany at the end of season 2 and realized she wasn’t that great of a person, so she wouldn’t go on to act like a total whiney brat, she’d be more mature (but maybe still be a little devious…but mature!!) and chuck realized he could make blair happy and be with her, but he should still have the same personality. they made him way too serious and mature, its like ridiculous. so now for him to do something ‘everyone will hate him for,’ they are taking way way too mature chuck and making him go worse than he was in season 1 (b/c he never did anything totally unforgiveable then…)

so they better get him to do something believable that he would actually do b/c i’m sick of them changing people personalities around and stuff, i hope this doesn’t ruin the show, and more importantly, i hope it doesn’t ruin chuck and blair. I hope he does something that seems bad, but some how he was just doing it to protect blair or something like that, not something thats actually bad. that’d be more realistic. and i hope it doesn’t break them up forever, but makes them love each other more in the end…

I totally agree. Looking at the characters past plotlines and actions, you would think that all of them are bipolar, especially Chuck, who went from reckless man-whore to depressed psycho to mature, sensitive boyfriend, and now to ruthless businessman?????? It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. I hope you are right about him doing something that seems bad but really isn’t. I would be SO devastated if they actually broke up!

New spoiler: Entertainment weekly reports they’ll hit a rough patch by the end of the season that will be “potentially irreparable”

If the CW writers play their cards right, this could turn out incredibly but they could also totally fuck it up.

OMG!! the writers don’t know what there doing this season! Their just screwing around with the characters!! GG is my fave show but if they f*** it up anymore, i think this show is going to suck!

But Florence, if they don’t break up, we’ll never get back the old Chuck and Blair who were actually interesting and fun to watch. I, for one, seriously miss the old Chuck and even Blair.

Plus, you know they will be endgame so it doesn’t matter. They’ve got to spice things up!

Remember Lucas cheated on Brooke but everyone still wanted them to get back together on OTH? It’s not always irreparable for fans

I think that the horrible thing should be something like Chuck making Jenny pregnant. Because there were rumours that someone is getting pregnant on the show and there is an upcoming GG episode ” Sixteen year old virgin ” – that probably will have something to do with Jenny’s virginity.. dunno just thought it would be fun. But i guess it’s not quite right because they’re brother and sister.. ah well then never mind.
