Gossip Girl’ star Taylor Momsen is in the hospital.

Good morning upper east siders, did you hear ambulance sirens last night?

It must have been because Jenny, also known as Taylor Momsen, age 15, was rushed to the hospital for a

“potentially life-threatening throat infection”.

The 15-year-old star has been in hospital since last Sunday.

Momsen’s manager released a letter from the star’s doctor, Shawn Nasseri, saying: “She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday.

“After aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days.”

I texted the CW to make sure that this was true and they say:

“Taylor Momsen is a beloved member of our ‘Gossip Girl’ cast and we are happy to report she is on the road to a speedy recovery.”

It is true!
