After ‘The Raiders of the Lost Art’ Episode nothing should shock the viewers of Gossip Girl anymore except maybe the events of the next two episodes.
‘The Fugitives’ was all about saving Bart Bass. He finally told Chuck the whole story about how the accident was planned by his enemy who hired Andrew Tyler to tell him the exact whereabouts of Bart. Bart paid a doctor to declare him dead and after the family left he fled. Now he’s back but only to attend to some business. Chuck tried his best to have Andrew Tyler arrested and the same accounts for the enemy of Bart. He did this by having Blair help him scheme.
Dan told Blair about an interview the people from Rome wanted to do with him because Dan now wanted to go to Rome and Blair gave him her word that she would come with. So she prepared a huge feast for the interviewee. When she got the text from Chuck that he needed help, she gave an excuse and ran to Chuck. When Serena showed up and introduced herself as Blair, Dan knew something was up. The interviewee accepted Dan’s application and Serena was happy to help.
Blair’s mother, Eleanor, arrived in NYC and Blair kept using her as an excuse so her scheming with Chuck wouldn’t be caught.
Lilly on the other hand wasn’t sure whether she still wanted to be married to Rufus, which I honestly don’t find okay. I mean the whole first two Seasons were all about her still in love with Rufus but couldn’t admit to it and then the two of them finally got married and now she no longer wanted to be committed? The writers were clearly taking some sort of substance because why else would you split the two of them up?
